Relatively easy repair that does NOT require you to slide out a slide-in unit.
- Power down by unplugging or by switching off circuit breaker
- remove 5 surface unit control knobs
- remove 4 plastic centering nuts around the shaft of each surface control unit (use a flat blade screw driver in one of the two slots on the centering nut and gently "tap" to turn it counterclockwise)
