After turning off the gas and unplugging the electricity, I removed all the burners from the stove top using a 3/16" hex socket. Then used a 1/4" socket to removed two or three screws under each burner which hold the burner base to the bottom of the top panel. Then pulled all the knobs and removed the front panel which was held in by two Phillips screws accessible from underneath the panel. It helps to open the oven door to get at these screws. I ordered a new longer griddle burner and burner cover, then just simply removed two screws from the small center burner and dropped the larger on in it's place. Very easy switch out and was very happy with the result. Very easy and worth while upgrade.

Went on site, read the reviews to see how difficult it would be or if any problems. Then ordered it And received it the next day!!!
The 2 screws were a bit hard to remove. Found the right screwdriver by using the 2 new screws I ordered.
Once I got them out, lifted the old panel out. Pushed down on one corner so could get a grip on opposite corner to lift out.
Once out, put in new one. Put in new screws and good to go!
Will certainly NOT line with foil ever again!!!
