- Forms a thermal barrier between the interior liner and outer cabinet to help hold cold air inside.
- Helps reduce frost and moisture buildup around the liner when intact.
- Worn, torn, or missing insulation can contribute to longer run times, uneven cooling, or more frequent defrost cycles.
- Replaces damaged insulation to restore proper temperature retention and improve appliance efficiency.

- Always disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair.
- Panel may be secured with clips, adhesive, or foam sealant; remove and install carefully to avoid damaging the liner.

I ordered the insulation kit for the range. Completely dismantled the range. Had to remove the remaining insulation. Then removed all evidence of the mice infestation. Scrubbed and deodorized the oven shell, covered all holes and entry places in the back and bottom with stainless steel screen.
