I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new. Received parts in record time. Very simple to do. A no brainer. Hardest part was moving stove out from wall. Be sure to unplug first. Simply take back off stove (a few screws). Unplug connections from old unit. 4 screws to remove that. Put front sticker on new unit that indicates bake broil clock temp etc. Screw in new unit, connect wires, put back of stove on.
