The bearing on the dryer drum wore out so bad the ball fell off Thomas J. • Green Bay , WI • October 31, 2016
I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new.

Purchased new wiring harness, reviewed YouTube video of replacing harness and did repair with very little adjustment to process needed. A couple extra steps to install black lead to connection as my models was in the back instead of on the top. That was it. Done in about an hour and works great!
