I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new. Purchased the small bottle of the bisque touch up paint and carefully applied it to the chipped area. The size of the chip was about 1/2" X 1 1/4" so it was very noticeable to say the least. The touch up paint has a viscosity that makes it smooth and leaves no brush marks. The color is a dead ringer for the original color of my 14 year old GE stove. I highly recommend this product.
