LG refrigerator not cooling but freezer worked after viewing videos and talking to AppliancePartsPros, I ordered the parts Robert C. • Flowery Branch , GA • November 30, 2019
I removed the defrost sensor assembly, installed a new one, it worked. Because of a shipping problem with FEDEX, Appliancepartspros resent the parts not once but twice. Needless to say, they are my go-to source for parts from now on.

The Door Gasket is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. This gasket seals the refrigerator door, ensuring a tight closure to maintain the internal temperature and prevent cold air from escaping. By creating an airtight seal, the door gasket helps keep food fresh and reduces energy consumption.
You should replace the door gasket if it becomes worn or damaged. Causes of a bad door gasket can include wear and tear over time, damage from repeated opening and closing of the door, or warping due to temperature fluctuations.
Symptoms of a bad door gasket include:
- Warm spots inside the refrigerator
- Excessive condensation or frost buildup
- The refrigerator door not closing properly
- Increased energy bills
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.

Lr refrigerator with double doors and lower freezer has premature gasket failure John K. • San Diego , CA • June 18, 2016
Had a local company in to estimate repair of gas range oven door glass that had fallen out. At this time had him provide me with an estimate for replacing the freezer door gasket because on several
occasions recently the freezer door has frozen closed. His estimate was $110.00 for the part and $140.00 for the labor. He would need to order the gasket and needed 3-4 days to get it. I watched your video ordered the part for under $50.00 total . I received it within 2 days and installed it in under...

No problem put in an ice maker Keith D. • Owasso , OK • April 19, 2016
Took out two screws in the front top of the freezer. Had to loosen screws on the airflow director to get the ice maker to slide into place. Plug in the connector then slide ice maker into the two slots in the back (it's snug) then lift it to the screw holes and screw it in and your down. Turn on the water. Turn on the ice maker and give it 12 hrs and you will start getting ice. Takes a few cycles to get the air out of the line.
