Kenmore Refrigerator 795.78763802 (79578763802, 795 78763802) Parts

Ice Maker Cooling Fan Assembly
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: 5209JA1044A

The Ice Maker Cooling Fan Assembly is an OEM replacement part for LG refrigerators. The purpose of this component is to circulate the air that goes into the ice compartment so that the water freezes in the ice maker to make the ice. It also runs intermittently to ensure the ice that has been made remains frozen.

Causes of a bad cooling fan assembly can include failure of the electric motor or fan blade over time due to prolonged use. Bearing wear is also common with extended operation of moving parts like the fan blade.

Symptoms of a bad cooling fan assembly include:

  • Inconsistent or infrequent ice production
  • Warm spots developing within the freezer compartment
  • Vibrations, rubbing, or grinding noises from the fan motor area
  • Inefficient freezing of items stored in the freezer

Replace yours today with this genuine OEM LG cooling fan assembly to restore optimized temperature control.

This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore refrigerators.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Lg refridgerator error code f1   Bill L. • Cape Coral , FL • June 30, 2015

Error code F1 is related to the ice maker not working on LG refrigerators. After unsuccessfully trying to get a repair person to come fix it, I looked on the web, found that this was a common problem and found the repair part needed from Appliance Parts Pro. I ordered the part on Saturday morning and was surprised when it arrived Sunday morning (6.95 FedEx). It took about 20 minutes to replace this part - basically undo 3 screws and unplug the old part. The ice maker is working like a... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You My LG refrigerator ice maker was leaking water inside the ice maker cavity in the left side door in addition I was getting moisture around the ice door seal and the cold air ducts   James W. • Seal Beach , CA • October 20, 2018

I replaced the ice maker assembly, which included the motor and electronics. I also replaced the door seal and the input cold air duct seals. The ice maker is mounted with only 2 philips screws, so it is easy to remove. The most difficult part is the harness, specifically the ground screw. The issue is that the wire is short and you need to turn the unit in order to get a screwdriver in. It would help to have a short screwdriver, but I was, finally, able to remove it with the full length... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You One of the refrigerator doors was off kilter and not closing properly.   Dean S. • Henderson , NV • April 04, 2018

I was kind of guessing at the parts that I needed, but the parts diagrams were a huge help, and I narrowed it down to the bushing and stopper on the right door. I removed the door and was able to replace the parts pretty easily. Now the fridge door works good as new. Read more

Refrigerator Dispenser Button Lever
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: 5020JA2040E

This dispenser button lever activates your refrigerator's water or ice dispensing mechanism when pressed. It transfers the pushing force from the external button to the internal switch that controls water flow or ice release. Replace this lever if your dispenser won't activate when pressed or if the button feels loose or unresponsive.
