I opened the front cover (breaking the spear that holds it in place on the right hand side), easily removed the defective reservoir and replaced it with the new one. I also replaced the front cover with a new cover to make up for the broken spear. Took less than 10 minutes.

When the refrigerator light started blinking a year later, I was able to find replacemts at $50+ each. In removing the refrigerator LED lamp assembly, I broke one of the cover latches. Super glue did not do the trick. I was able to find the correct cover from Appliance Parts Pros, and the installation was a simple SNAP into place. Hopefully the light will outlast me.
