Prevents water leaks around your washer door during wash and spin cycles. Replace if you notice leaking, cracking, or mold buildup. Verify fit with your model.
Turned out that the large gray boot/gasket had finally started to harden and deteriorate right at the bottom where the drain hose is. No surprise it leaked after seeing that. Installing the new gasket (and new clamps which I figured I would replace at the same time) did the trick. Fairly simple install. Do yourself a favor and buy the spring pliers to remove/install the clamps. Well worth the time and hassle they will save you. Read more

Washer won't spin or turns inconsistently? The stator assembly creates the magnetic field that drives the drum. Moderate DIY repair, 30-60 minutes.
The drum was hesitating and then not turning at all with an error code. Wife also smelled "something burning", which of course is never a good sign. Ordered a new stator and had my LG washer back up and running 15 minutes after getting the $100 stator via FedEx. This is the third repair on this machine in 8 years, all parts received from APP!!!! No need to go out and drop $1600 for a new front load LG washer!!! Thanks APP!!!! Read more

After the noise became unbearable, I began to explore and disassemble. I knew enough to know the bearings must be bad but had never done this repair before. ( I am however pretty mechanically inclined.) Watch this video before you start tearing your LG apart. APP did a great job explaining the steps of the repair.
