The Door Latch Hook is an OEM replacement part for LG microwaves. Located internally on the door frame, this metal hook secures firmly into the microwave's door latch bracket when closed. As a common wear point, the hook can experience minor warping over many years of use.

Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. The tray was an easy fix as I looked up Kenmore Microwave and ordered the replacement. The light bulb was a little trickier as to replace it you must have a special screwdriver that has a 5-pointed bit with a hole in the middle. This is because nothing else is safely serviceable on the microwave. I unplugged the microwave and moved it to my kitchen table to do the work.
