Light Bulb
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: 6912JB2004M

The Light Bulb is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. It can be used in either the fresh food section or freezer compartment, providing illumination for easy visibility of the stored items.

Causes of a faulty light bulb can include regular wear and tear, reaching the end of its lifespan, or accidental breakage. These factors can result in issues such as a dark or poorly lit interior, making it difficult to see the contents of the refrigerator.

Symptoms of a bad light bulb may include:

  • No illumination or dim lighting inside the refrigerator
  • A flickering or intermittent light
  • Visible damage or broken filament inside the bulb

This LG OEM bulb is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You LG french door refrigerator lights failed   Phil M. • Santa Cruz , CA • November 06, 2019

So I read a number of the earlier posts regarding the required repairs and went forward with all those repairs. In short, I replaced the wiring harness, door switches, and bulbs. The problem still persisted so I went ahead and replaced the control board. That did the trick. So for my unit, LG LFX25960ST replacing all those components were required. All repairs were easy and the videos and posts are all helpful. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Refrigerator was not cooling in my kenmore (lg ) bottom freezer frig all appliance stated no circuitboards available   Jeffrey R. • Statesville , NC • March 14, 2015

I replaced the evaporator fan motor, defrost thermostat & circuit board. I replaced the fan motor since it did not operate. While i was in there making the repair i read online it was beneficial to replace the defrost thermostat. Before i ordered i checked to see if fan motor was getting power and it was not so i deducted that the circuit board was not supplying power. I took a chance and ordered a new board since it was available from appliance pro and I'm glad i did. Refrigerator works great.... Read more
