This DC fan motor drives the refrigerator's fan to circulate air across the coils and through the cabinet. Replacing a weak or failed motor restores proper airflow for consistent temperatures and reliable cooling performance.
- Spins the fan blade to move air through the cabinet and across heat-exchange coils
- Helps maintain even, stable temperatures throughout the appliance
- Typical failure symptoms: fan not running or intermittent, unusual humming/squealing/rattling near the fan area, poor cooling or temperature fluctuations
- Can reduce hot spots by restoring proper air circulation
What's included: One DC fan motor. Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; use cut-resistant gloves
- Access the motor behind the rear cover or interior panel (location varies by model)
- Note connector orientation; disconnect harness, mount the new motor, and securely route wiring
- Ensure the blade spins freely with no obstructions; restore power and verify fan operation

The left leveling leg was broken and needed replacement Charles L. • Marietta , CA • February 15, 2019
I screwed out the broken leveling leg and screwed in and reset the new one.Iit is working fine. I also thought I needed to replace the water line to the Ice maker, but discovered I just needed to reattach it. I do, however, need to fix the water dispenser as it will not shut off. How do I do that?

This motor support damper sits between the refrigerator's compressor and base to absorb vibration and movement. Replacing a worn damper helps quiet rattles and humming from the back of the cabinet and keeps the compressor properly supported.
- Cushions the compressor to reduce transmitted vibration and noise
- Helps quiet humming, buzzing, or rattling from the lower rear of the refrigerator
- Maintains proper compressor alignment and support on the base pan
- Common signs of wear: increased vibration/noise, a cracked or flattened damper, or noticeable compressor movement when running
What's included: One motor support damper. Install notes:
- Unplug the refrigerator and pull it forward to access the rear; allow the compressor to cool before working
- Support the compressor to remove load from the mount before loosening hardware
- Replace the damper and tighten mounting hardware evenly without over-compressing the rubber
- Avoid bending or stressing refrigerant tubing; wear gloves and eye protection
Note: Many models use multiple dampers at the compressor feet—check your parts diagram to confirm the quantity required.
