Symptoms of a bad door switch include:
- Interior light not turning on or off properly
- Refrigerator not cooling properly or running continuously
- Door alarm not functioning correctly
- Intermittent or unresponsive switch operation
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore.
This part fixes the following symptoms
-

The refrigerator lights on 24/7/365 situation Adolfo B. • Weston , FL • December 31, 2016
...after our refrigerator stopped working one of these mornings, I googled the symptom and was steered to a page where I was able to determine the possible culprit. Lg regrigerator lights David S. • Olympia , WA • October 27, 2014
Both refrig and freezer lights failed. I did not replace the freezer light that went first, because of the cost. $90+. When the refrigerator light started blinking a year later, I was able to find replacemts at $50+ each. In removing the refrigerator LED lamp assembly, I broke one of the cover latches. Super glue did not do the trick. I was able to find the correct cover from Appliance Parts Pros, and the installation was a simple SNAP into place. Hopefully the light will outlast me.
