It would shut off mid cycle and stop drying heat and drum worked fine. Michelle M. • Erlanger , KY • June 27, 2021
I noticed if I caught it early enough the light inside would be on. I googled it and found that it could be the door latch slipping and letting the door open, which would stop the dryer. I watched the video on Appliance Parts Pros and it was so simple. I ordered a new door latch and catch and fixed it in 2 minutes! Thank you so much!

What's included: 1 DC pump motor assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect power and turn off the water supply before servicing
- Expect residual water; protect the area with towels or a shallow pan
- Note wiring connectors and hose routing; transfer any brackets, grommets, or seals from the original as needed

- Converts mechanical movement into an electrical open/close signal to the control
- Commonly used for lever/paddle actuators, latches, or interlock detection within the appliance
- Safe symptom clues: no response when actuated, intermittent operation, or a function stuck on/off
- Physical clues: weak or absent "click" when pressed, heat discoloration or damage at terminals
What's included: 1 micro switch
- Disconnect power before servicing; if the product is connected to a water line, close the supply valve
- Note wire positions and terminal labels (COM/NO/NC); transfer wires one at a time to matching terminals
- Match the actuator orientation and mounting position to the original for proper operation
- After installation, verify continuity with a multimeter and test function before reassembly

The Pump Motor Assembly is an OEM component specifically designed for LG dishwashers. It houses both the wash and drain pump motors integrated within a singular assembly.
These motors work together to efficiently circulate water through spray arms during wash cycles for optimized cleaning performance. They also help drain dirty water at the end of each cycle, ensuring dishes are thoroughly rinsed.
Symptoms of a bad pump motor assembly include:
- Inadequate or incomplete wash and rinse performances
- Water failing to drain fully after cycles
- Leaks occurring due to ineffective pumps
- Abnormal sounds from the motor during the operation
Causes can include normal wear over time, failures in motor electronic components, or damage from foreign debris.
Replacing the pump motor assembly with this genuine OEM LG part restores optimized wash and rinse functions. It is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore dishwashers.

The lint trap guide cover cracked on dlg1502w LG dryer. Chuck G. • Douglas , MI • October 01, 2022
The lint trap guide cover was cracked on our LG dryer which sees pretty heavy use at our rental cabins. AppliancePartsPros.com got us the replacement part in about 48 hours. They didn't have the lowest price, but they made the best assurances of a quick delivery while not having to pay for expedited shipping.
I had double-checked part numbers (and prices and shipping time estimates!) at a number of other sites. All listed the same part number but, with it in hand, I could see it wasn't exactly...

The dryer was making a pounding sound intermittently while drying my clothes Sergio C. • Suisun , CA • September 03, 2021
I took the dryer apart. (You Tube video). The issue was a portion of the tension belt pulley wheel had broken off. The drum belt which wraps around the drum and the pulley would make the drum spin off balance, hence making the pounding noise.
1) I changed the belt because the dryer is 10+ years old & it had many cracks.
2) I changed the belt tensioner.
3) I changed the LED light.
