Dryer stopped turning Patrick S. • Wooster , OH • July 05, 2025
Tension pully screw fell out of the motor bracket. Upon inspection, the hole was worn and would not hold the screw tightly.
New bracket installed with a new belt just because it was already apart.
Runs great now!
The bracket was half the price of a competing on-line store.

The original issue with the dryer is that a corner of the lint screen was sticking out of the lint screen guide, and it would not stay flush with the guide. As a result, many tank top straps, waistband strings, and blankets would get caught on this corner and twist, tear, or warp my clothes.
When I did my research on the issue, I kept reading that it was an issue with the lint screen that came with the dryer. So I ordered the lint screen, guide, and cover that appliance part pros recommends to...

- Unusual noises, such as humming or buzzing, indicating the motor is struggling.
- The dryer stops unexpectedly during cycles or won't start at all.

This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore.
