Ordered a new door from Appliance Pros at a cheaper rate than Sears. Looked at schematic and watched a few YouTube videos on Microwave door repair. Removed the old door and installed the new one. Read more
This ventilation grille covers the exhaust opening on your microwave and allows air to flow through the venting system. Gently pried black plastic off door interior. Revealed screws for handle, removed them and spring latch. Door easily lifts off hinge pins. Gently pried off interior glass/mesh component. Removed exterior glass. Discarded white plastic face. Replaced exterior glass (careful - tight) replaced interior glass and mesh, handle, spring latch and black plastic snaps back on. Slid door back on hinge pins. done in about 10 minutes, door looks like new. Read more
