This is the front bulkhead panel that forms the front wall of the dryer drum opening. It provides structural support for the drum and typically includes the felt seal and bearing surfaces that allow the drum to rotate smoothly. Replace this assembly if the front panel is cracked, warped, or worn, or if you notice excessive noise, drum wobble, or clothes getting caught between the drum and the front panel.
From reading "troubleshooting" sites on the internet, originally thought I'd be replacing the front & rear drum rollers, so I ordered the rollers, and a new belt before I opened up the dryer, taking it out of use. When I opened it up the front rollers were "shot", and the front bulkhead was "totaled". This is the rear section of the dryer drum that forms the back wall of the tumbling chamber. It supports the drum structure and works with the front panel and drum seal to contain clothes during the drying cycle. Replace this part if it is cracked, warped, or damaged, which can cause unusual noises, poor tumbling performance, or air leaks that reduce drying efficiency.
Replaced moisture sensors and thermistor, they helped more heat but still not enough, checking the gas interval, and it seemed ok but when the light (burner) is on it is not staying long enough like before. Checked gas line and found out the leaking gas very small crack at the end of connector from dryer to gas pipe. Replaced the accordion gas hose and it was the culprit. Read more
