Following a you tube video, I disassembled the washer to the level necessary to access hinge and replaced the assembly. Note that if your assembly uses Phillips screws on the door, they use a thread locker compound. In order to remove the screws, heat them from the back with a propane torch for about 15 seconds. I wished the new hinge came with screws instead of reusing the old ones. Read more
