I heard grinding then noticed lack of rotation in a 4 yr old lg front loader washer David C. • Gaston , OR • September 19, 2015
I looked on the internet for similar descriptions for similar models and found many angry reports. Most said that the rotor assembly was bad as the nut that held the rotor and other parts together had loosened and allowed slippage between steel and plastic splines. Yes, I know that sounds like trouble, but apparently not to LG when they designed it. Most buyers complained that the part was covered by warrantee but not the labor and labor had been quoted as $400 to $600 dollars. Time to buy...

The Vent Hose is an OEM part for LG washing machines. This hose is essential for ensuring proper ventilation within the washer, allowing air to circulate and preventing the buildup of moisture and mildew. It helps maintain the efficiency of the washing machine by facilitating the expulsion of air and excess water vapor during operation.
Causes of a bad washer vent hose can include wear and tear over time, blockages from lint or debris, or damage due to bending or pinching.
Symptoms of a bad vent hose include:
- Excessive moisture or condensation inside the washer
- Musty odors from the washing machine
- Visible cracks or holes in the hose
- Poor ventilation leading to inefficient washing cycles
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore.

Water leaking from my front load washing machine Donald H. • Tustin , CA • July 03, 2015
Removed the top cover while the machine was operating, located the source of the leak. The top filler tube had worn a hole in a flex point. Found the right part on this site, replaced it with little effort. While in there I saw a similar hose and decided to replace it as its time was probably up too. So far so good, washing clothes and no leaks!! Great prices and best of all the right parts were delivered in a timely manner. Thanks for making this so easy. Only specialty tool used was hose...

A washer's primary control board is the main control unit of the appliance. If the primary control board malfunctions, the washer may lose all main functions. These functions include spin, drain, and other cycle options. If the problem ends up being the control board, these functions will return when a replacement control board is installed. Begin the installation by unplugging the washer from its power source. This part is for an LG front loading washing machine, and installation may be more technical than a normal top-loader.This LG washer primary control board assembly is a genuine OEM product sourced directly from LG. The part listed is only available individually and is not included with any other components. This part is only compatible with LG washing machines.
