The Water Line is an OEM part for LG refrigerators, designed to supply water to the ice maker and water dispenser. Made from durable materials to withstand water pressure and prevent leaks, this water line is essential for access to clean, filtered water at all times. Note: color of the water tube may be different from original. Tube is 5/16" diameter
Symptoms of a bad Water Line include:
- Leaking of water at the connection points or along the tubing.
- A noticeable decrease in water flow to the dispenser or ice maker.
- A bad taste or odor of the water and ice
Causes of failure can range from physical damage, such as kinks or punctures, to wear and tear over time leading to brittleness or weakening of the material. These issues can compromise the integrity of the water supply, affecting both the quality and safety of the water and ice provided by your refrigerator.
This OEM LG part can also be used on Kenmore/Sears appliances.

Split/leaking water line on my lg refrigerator Craig L. • Collinsville , TX • July 27, 2014
Removed the old line and replaced with the new. This is the sixth time I've replaced the line. Yes you read that right, the sixth time. Lines fail about every 6-8 months so I can change one out now in about 10-15 minutes. Bought the refrigerator in Feb '09 and the line first failed in March 2012. Since then I've had failures in as little as 4 months to as much as 9 months. Frustrating to say the least, but I'm a whiz at changing out the line :-)

Lg french door referigerator/ freezer error code er dh Matthew W. • Columbus , NJ • November 20, 2014
Replaced defrost sensor in freezer compartment, if you are handy this is a do it yourself job. The cover in the freezer section just pops out not tools needed. You will need a few small zip ties and some cutters to remove the old zip ties. Take a picture were the old sensor was before removing and reinstall in the same place. I used a meter to check continuity of the defrost element and found the element to be ok. I was quoted $85 to have someone come to the house just to check the unit and...

Slow water delivery from dispenser on door Robert G. • Baton Rouge , LA • August 16, 2015
First I replaced the filter thinking it was the problem, but that was not the case. Next was replace water supply valve at the back of the refrigerator. It was very easy. The only thing that was in question was how to get the refrigerator side line off of the existing valve. There is a plastic slide clip that you remove and pull the line out and press the line back into the port it came out of. It was a very simple project and took about 20 minutes.
