Replaced ice shot door. Because the original ice funnel was glued in by the manufacturer, it could not be removed without breaking, resulted in replacement of the ice funnel and dispenser assembly. Unfortunately the dispenser was damaged when I received it. This wouldn’t have happened if packaged from the supplier in a box instead of a bubble rap envelope. Seems the repair tech i used to work on the ice maker cut the injection tube too short during last repair. Water would drip into ice bucket or on shelf and cause ice make to lock up. Replacement took less than 5 minutes, perfect fit and only a Phillips screwdriver required.
