- Typical symptoms: broken louvers or tabs, rattling/vibration noises, obstructed airflow, frost or warm spots near the fan area
- Restores the original airflow path and appearance after damage
What's included: 1 fan grille assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect power and clear shelves/drawers to access the panel
- Remove the screws/clips securing the old grille and retain any reusable hardware
- Position the new grille and fasten securely; ensure the fan spins freely and vents are unobstructed

The Door Gasket is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. It serves as a thermally-insulating boundary around the freezer door helping maintain intended sub-freezing temperatures.
Causes of a bad freezer door gasket can involve hardening of the rubber from prolonged exposure to freezer climate conditions. Mineral accumulation aggravates inflexibility over time as well.
Symptoms of a bad freezer door gasket include:
- Difficulty closing the freezer door fully or securely
- Reduced energy efficiency from cold air escape
- Premature evaporation of the door seals' adhesive
- Gap formation around the door exposing food to warmer air
This OEM LG part is also compatible with some Kenmore models.

The refrigerator manual is not clear about removing/replacing the water filter. In spite of what it says, the top shelf under the filter MUST be removed when changing the water filter. If you don't pull the filter all the way down, you...

Two issues water in the bottom of fridge and clicking noise Leroy B. • Colorado Springs , CO • January 19, 2015
The old filter head was broken at the supply line side connector fell out. The clicking noise eventually caused the fridge to warm up and stop cooling. The clicking was the overload relay tripping. The Start solenoid on the compressor was an Embarco TSD part 513604044. APP does not have that part nor does any else found a similar one on ebay but I ordered the PTC assembly 6749C-0014E. I removed the overload relay and capacitor from the TSD used two pieces of wire and connectors to create the...
