- Remove the old panel by taking out retaining screws or clips; keep hardware if reusing
- Watch for sharp sheet-metal edges; use gloves and eye protection
- Align tabs and screw holes, secure with the original or OEM-specified fasteners; do not operate the appliance with panels removed
