Since I could not find the correct thermistor from the schematic provided, I ordered the thermistor harness for the evaporator. I cut the harness and spliced it to the sheared thermistor wires on the roof of the freezer compartment. It now works fine with a little "farmer ingenuity" help. Samsung was absolutely no help at all, but the guy that I spoke with over the phone at APP sure was. This site is now my "go to" for appliance parts! Tip for others with this model. Problem with handle was the plastic inserts in the handle had cracked and also the plastic part that holds the shaft had broken. The plastic inserts are not availble from Samsung or any other source that I could find.
There was a hole in each side of the handle where you could unlatch the handle to remove it. This is the area with the broken plastic. I tapped the hole thru the metal handle and the plastic. I then put a stainless steel set screw in the threaded hole and tighten it down. It...
