Warm refridgerator/freezer compressor hot not running Rick O. • Milwaukee , WI • May 09, 2015
Removed lower rear cover, compressor was very hot. This is usually a capacitor issue, but the schematic on the back of the unit shows a start/ run relay. For the low cost, I replaced both. parts were delivered in 2 days.
The start/ run relay is mounted directly to the compressor. It slides on/ off with a little bit of prying. No fasteners.
The start capacitor is inside a white plastic housing on the lower right corner of the unit. Phillips screwdriver is all you need to complete the job.

This rubber grommet cushions and seals the middle hinge point on appliance doors or lids. It prevents metal-on-metal contact and reduces noise while providing a weather seal. Replace this grommet if your appliance door squeaks, rattles, or doesn't close tightly.

This water fill tube delivers fresh water from the supply line to your ice maker during the ice-making cycle. It ensures proper water flow and positioning for optimal ice cube formation. Replace this tube if your ice maker produces hollow, malformed, or no ice cubes, or if you notice water leaking inside the freezer compartment.

Water leaking into icemaker bucket and down back of freezer compartment Mark J. • Henrico , VA • February 27, 2017
Replaced ice maker assembly because ice was always presented like crushed ice instead of cubes. Still had icing issue, so hit reset and watched water as it cycled to fill ice tray. Water dripped from tube outside of nozzle. Pulled refrigerator away from wall and removed cover of water supply tube. The tube had broken into two pieces allowing water to slip past and drip into freezer compartment. Replaced tube in about 15 minutes and we have no icing issues anymore
