Samsung Refrigerator RF23A9071SG/AA Parts

This evaporator cover assembly replaces the plastic housing that surrounds the refrigerator evaporator and damper, helping direct cold airflow and protect internal components for reliable cooling performance. What it does:

• Covers and shields the evaporator and damper area from debris and accidental contact
• Directs conditioned airflow from the evaporator into the fresh-food compartment
• Helps maintain even cooling by guiding air through the damper path
• Can prevent frost buildup on exposed components when installed correctly

• High-level replacement only; remove power and empty the compartment before starting
• Handle plastic parts carefully to avoid cracking; use correct fasteners and gaskets if applicable
• Verify orientation and damper linkage alignment during reassembly for proper airflow

Insulates refrigerator door to prevent cold air loss. Replace if door feels warm, condensation forms, or cooling efficiency drops. Confirm fit with model number.
