Checked the three door switches; used ohm meter to see if there was resistance or if a switch was bad. 2 out of 3 switches showed resistance with the ohm meter. Unplugged power cord. Removed the microwave from over the range. Removed vent and screws on of microwave, which allowed me to remove compartment containing sensor at upper left area of microwave. Removed clamp holding sensor. Removed and replaced sensor. Reversed process and reinstalled unit.

When I took the left side of the handle off I found the plastic piece that broke on the right side was about to break on the left side also.

The fan that cools the main unit had started making noise a few weeks ago, I tried cleaning and lubricating the bearings, but the fan would make noise when it heated up, then finally stopped.

The manufacture did not crimp the connectors down all the way so that every time the capacitor discharged the connector would arc on the sensor. When I took the cover off and noticed the damage the plastic had already turned to ash. Replaced the cutoff sensor with the one advised to me by Appliance Parts Pros and everything works as it should. I also soldered the connection this time just to be sure.
