This charger, or adapter, is built by Craftsman as an accessory for a number of their pressure washers and generators. The gasoline-powered tools utilize batteries to fire the spark plugs and start their engines. Periodically, even the finest manufactured batteries need to be charged. Just as a user is about to use a pressure washer or generator for the first time in 12 months, they may discover that the battery is dead. That's the worst time to find out that the original charger for the battery has been lost. When kept in adequate conditions, a user can expect to get up to around 10 years of service from a Craftsman generator or pressure washer battery. It's important, however, not to leave the charger in a current state of charging. Not only is this a wasted electrical expense, but it actually decreases the life of the battery. Keeping a generator sufficiently charged is essential. Power outages due to weather-related events are unpredictable. Thus, it is imperative to maintain a regular schedule for charging and testing generator batteries. When replacing a missing adapter, it's best to use a proprietary version that has been built according to the exact specifications of the original and is a genuine OEM replacement part.

The thermal relief valve protects the pump from the potential heat buildup that can occur during recirculation or when in the bypass mode. It opens once temperatures reach 140 degrees and resets automatically when the excess heat is eliminated. Should the machine run too long without releasing water, it can damage the pump. If the pressure washer does not automatically release pressurized air, it is likely a defective or broken thermal relief valve that will need to be replaced to reduce risks of damage to the machine. It is an easy fix that requires little more than an appropriately sized wrench. Slide the rubber cap and remove the valve. Then replace it and tighten it accordingly, completing the repair. This OEM thermal relief valve is for Craftsman and Briggs & Stratton pressure washers. This part ships individually and is made of durable materials.
The pressure washer outlet tube is part of a pressure washer that acts as a connector between the pressure washer hose and the pressure washer pump. It is an aluminum component that ensures water can pass between sections of the pressure washer during use. This OEM part helps create the proper water pressure to clean house siding, decks, sidewalks, driveways, and more. This product is most commonly needed to repair a leaky pressure washer that doesn’t offer the water pressure desired. The outlet tube also may be needed if running the pressure washer results in water coming out of the tube or the areas where it connects. This part can experience wear and tear over time, so checking whether it is in good condition will also give information on whether a replacement is required. This is a genuine OEM component that is designed for Craftsman, Troy-Bilt, Briggs & Stratton, and Snapper pressure washers. It is sold individually and comes with both the outlet tube and the O-ring that should be attached to it. Installing the pressure washer outlet tube may require pump lubricant, which can be bought separately.
