I removed the old one but I can’t get the new one back in place because the connectors are horizontal so they don’t fit back in the holes. It looks like I may need to remove the back plate and oven rack holders in order to get the element connectors back in the holes. Is that what you would recommend or am I missing something?

I found part number 00367648 (AP2826720), which seems to be correct for my 30" oven, but when I put in my oven model number to confirm that this is the correct part, the website tells me it is not. Jeff G November 13, 2015 for Model Number 10RJ76A I have a very old hotpoint custom crest wall oven,nameplate only has a catagory # 10RJ76A no model # on it sereal # WS0089823 .What I need is bake element on bottom,it has 3 flat prongs on it but the middle one is just for support.part# on it is 661731. 3000 watts. It looks like the ends of the element are spot welded to the flat prongs and then goes thru a ceramic insulater that plugs into the oven.small oven 16 1/2 high,17 1/2 wide and 19 1/2 deep .any help would be great thank you

Terry February 13, 2015 I have a Thermador single oven, which measures 30" across. I cannot find a serial number anywhere, but the shape and dimensions of the bake element match part number 00367648. The problem is that no matter what temperature the bake cycle is set, the oven will only heat to 280F and stop. The broiler function seems to work fine. Any suggestions?
