Dave August 05, 2013 for Model Number Bosch HBL 635 A UC Hi, My Bosch electric oven tends to overheat and not maintain a consistent temperature. It blows a steady stream of hot air out of the front vent the entire time the oven is turned on as well as after it is turned off until the oven has cooled and then eventually the vent fan turns off. The oven is approximately 10 years old and it came with the home that I recently purchased, so I'm unable to give any history. Any thoughts on my problem? Thank you. Dave
1 Answer Dave, You will want to check the oven sensor to make sure that it is good. At room temperature the sensor should read approximately 1090 ohms. Read More...
Jen May 27, 2013 for Model Number Sc302zp I have a model SC302ZP double oven from Thermador. I can't seem to locate a baking element for the lower oven but I think the 367648 fits the best description and size. Do you see anything different?
Rachel January 05, 2013 for Model Number SC302TS Upper oven bake setting is heating too slowly and not making it up to the set temperature. The bake element is turning on and off during the preheat and never quite getting up to temperature, sometimes just staying off all together. Broil function works properly on upper oven and in lower oven all functions work properly. Removed upper oven bake element and tested it - resistance is 19 Ohms. Is it possible coil is on its way to failing and that's causing the problem or is it some other component causing the problem? Was hoping it was the coil because that's an easy fix... Any insight would be very helpful! Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Rachel, You should check the oven sensor 00414152 for resistance. The sensor should read 1090 ohms at room temperature. This does sound more like the sensor rather than the bake element. Read More...
Tod September 23, 2012 for Model Number 3SCD302T The oven is taking far too long to come to bake temperature (35 minutes to get to 375°F). I ran self-cleaning and it appeared to do its job. Could this still just be a faulty bake element or is it more likely the control panel?
1 Answer Hello Tod, This is much more likely to be a Thermal Sensor Kit 00414152 out of tolerance. It is possible that the electronic control is mis-reading the information sent by the sensor, but since the sensor is in the bake compartment with the 900°F to 1100°F temperatures, it is suspect for a long pre-heat. Joe December 29, 2011 for Model Number AP2826720 Successfully removed the element, just tugged. How do I install the new element: it's very difficult to see inside those holes and I can't see the wires or connectors that attach to the element spades. Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Joe. You will need to remove the back of the unit and locate the wire connectors and install them onto the new element 00367648. Hope this helps. Read More...
Del November 20, 2011 for Model Number scd302 How are the wires connected to the element? I do not see any clips. Do they just pull out or do they require a special tool? I have it unbolted and have access to the wires.
Lojosti April 12, 2011 for Model Number SC272TW The heating element we took out says it is 2600 watt and 240 volt. Is this the heating element that will work for a Thermador oven/convection oven and self cleaning.
1 Answer Hello Lojosti. According to your model number, you will need the 27 inch element 00367649, and not the 30 inch element. Hope this helps. Read More...
