1 Answer Judith, When the dishwasher is on a heated dry selection, it could produce a slight odor, especially if we have deposits developping on the heater. I wouldn't suspect a burnt wire at this point, but you would want to remove the lower access panel, turn the power off, and check the wiring connections at the junction box, and heaterassembly.
