For Bosch Control Unit (Electronic Control Board) (Part Number: OEM11575146)

Mark, When you remove the kickplate to the unit, locate the water valve and remove. Take a cloth and push it through the hole and pull it back out. It will most likely come out wet as there may be a leak in the pan that is under the unit. You will need to determine where the leak is coming from.

TG, You will want to look in the base of the unit and see if there is water collecting as it sounds like the issue may be that the unit is leaking and the flood switch is active causing the drain pump to run.

We have a problem that several others have mentioned; that the dishwasher counts down to 1 minute but never goes to 0. Your replies suggest a water leak or stuck float. However in our case this only occurs when we use the quick wash. When we select power scrubber or regular wash this never happens; just with quick wash. Doesn't this imply a control panel problem rather than the suggested water leak and/or stuck float, which would make every cycle have the same problem?

Hello Max. It could just be the board, but 99% of the time, it is that float causing the issue. I would still check and if no water is found, replace the board.

Hello Ronald. There is a leak in the base pan on the unit or the overflow float in the bottom is stuck in the up position.

Hello Greg, The unit may have had a double dose of detergent put in from the time it first gave you trouble to the time you got it going. With no dishes or detergent in the unit, put one tablespoon of vegetable or corn oil in the unit and allow it to run for one to one and a half minutes. Cancel and drain and start the unit on a normal cycle. Once it has drained and started to fill, open the door and pour in one quart of white vinegar. This will remove the corn oil put in earlier. When the cycle with no heat assist and no heated dry has completed you are ready to try washing a load.
