Questions & Answers

For Bosch Control Unit (Part Number: OEM17073921)

Tgh, it would be recommended that the power cord is checked to ensure it is fully secured on the back of the dishwasher as it is very easy to have come loose when moving the unit around. If it is secure and there is 120VAC verified as reaching the unit, the next step would be to identify if there is a broken wire in the door. If not, the most likely cause of failure would be the power module 12009518.

Gus Wilkins for Model Number SHE65T55UC07

Bosch Model SHE65T55UC07 keeps displaying error code E24. Have drained the bottom of the dishwasher several times by disconnection the drain hose from the garbage disposal and using a shop vacuum to suck the water out – found nothing each time. Checked the filters (not clogged), but washed anyway. Removed the pump cover – didn’t find anything, with my finger I could rotate the impeller. It moved freely. I used an endoscope to view the area around the impeller – nothing. No foreign objects (normally pre-rinse dishes before placing in the dishwasher) found that would cause the pump not to be able to drain the sump. Replaced the drain pump, the error E24 still occurs (the original drain pump ohms good). After sucking out the water, the dishwasher would work normally – on a declining basis for the number of washes before the E24 appears, now down to one. What part tells the drain pump to run?

1 Answer

Gus,

The control module will be the part that tells the unit to drain and sends power to it.

Hello Lauren,
if you are running the hot water at the sink first , then starting the dishwasher and the cycle times are still too long, and no-fault codes are showing in the display, then likely the turbidity sensor is at fault,00611323.

Gilbert,

The E09 is a defective heating element. Check the connection between the heating element and the Power Module. The resistance of the heating element between 1 & 3 should be 10Ohms @ room temp. If resistances are not present, replace the heat-pump assembly. Otherwise, replace the power module
