Melissa March 19, 2024 for Model Number shxm4ay55n/28 I put stainless steel cleaner into the rinse aid dispenser instead of rinse aid (obviously very distracted). Is replacing this part the right thing to do. The cleaner has an oily residue I'm not sure I will be able to get rid of otherwise.
Bianca September 22, 2023 for Model Number SHX68T55UC/01 Our dishes taste of rinse aid, even though the setting on our dishwasher is set on the smallest dispensing possible. I need to constantly refill rinse aid. Replacing only the lid to the soap dispenser did not solve the issue. Do I need to replace the complete soap dispenser assembly, or might there be an issue with the motherboard? Thank you
1 Answer Bianca, the dispenser 00645208 would need to be tested for DC voltage to identify if it is receiving voltage continuously during a wash cycle. If it is receiving voltage throughout the wash cycle instead of only at the rinse portion, the control module 00752739 has failed. If it is not receiving constant voltage, the dispenser would need to be replaced. Read More...
Dee December 28, 2022 for Model Number SHE3AR76UC/22 When I install this, do I need to add any glue/sealant to ensure it doesn’t leak? Or is the pressure + rubber seal good enough on its own? In the video it doesn’t appear that any glue/sealant is required but just want to make sure.
1 Answer Dee, an adhesive or sealant would not be necessary as the rubber seal is designed to properly seal it. Read More...

Jonathan W June 25, 2018 for Model Number SHE65T55UC/09 My new dishwasher is 16 months old and no longer in warranty. The rinse aid dispenser leaks. Part # 12008380 Is there a video on how to replace this? I found a video from your company on youtube but it was a different model and part number. Thanks, Jonathan
1 Answer Jonathan, Unfortunately there would not be a video on how to replace the dispenser but all you would do is remove the screws from the inner door panel and the front panel will come off.
