Susan M. February 04, 2013 for Model Number PRG366EH/04 The oven door on my Thermador range has never shut tightly. Hot air is blown out around the door any time it is on. Would replacing the hinges be a fix. What hinge for this model? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Susan, The door hinges will correct the issue if the door liner isn't warped. You can tell this by opening the door and using a yard stick on the inside of the door liner from the hinge to the top of the door. If it rocks, the door liner 00478795 will have to be replaced. If it is flush against the door liner from bottom to top, the hinges 00644277 will correct the issue. Question December 08, 2012 for Model Number 487746 i bought this hinge(487746), my question is, when i install it, should i put it into lock position first? right now the silver part is vertial to the gold part, should i move silver part all the way to close to horizontal? it is so hard to bend it using my hand, any trick to do that? thanks.
