For Bosch Washer Drain Pump (Part Number: OEM11994603)

Joe for Model Number Bosch WFK 2690/01

This Bosch Washer (WFK2690/01) was moved from Germany so it is 250Vac 50Hz. It has been working wonderfully with 240V 60 cycle. Pump has always rattled for about 15 seconds before starting to pump. Now drain pump rattles while trying to pump and impeller spins when tested without water but pump does not pump. I've had everything apart and find no obstructions. Drain check valve (ball and seat) is clean (ball is a little rough like 600 grit sandpaper), inlet hose is clean, pump filter is clean, discharge hose and little tank on discharge side are clean. I know pump will run about 20% faster with 60Hz and I know magnetic drive pumps can disengage. I think I need a new pump.

Hello Joe, I'm sorry but we cannot recommend a part for an import. Since we cannot look up parts for them and it is ill-advised to install a 50Hz pump on a 60Hz unit, we will need you to contact an import dealership for the correct part number for this unit. We also do not recommend running this unit on 60Hz.

Hello Bill, While this sounds like a drain restriction or a failed drain pump, I'm sorry but we cannot recommend any parts without the model number from the units' I.D. tag. We will need to ask you to post a new question including the model number from your units' I.D. tag so we can provide proper assistance. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

David for Model Number Bosch Nexxt 500 -WFC330SUC/03 - FD 8612 - 900064

I keep getting the error code E:04. I've read that the owners manual says it's the pump, but somewhere online I saw the service manual said it could be the door lock. The washer wont drain completely, but if I let the water out, and sit there with wet vac sucking up the water while it runs, then it will run, so I'm assuming it is the pump. So my question is, will that error code be used for multiple problems, and if so what else? Second, is it possible that the pump will sound like it's on but still not work, maybe like the impeller is bad or something? Finally, do you also carry the wire and adapter that plugs into the back of the pump? Thanks.

David, The pump would be the most likely cause for this issue. The error code can be different for different models but will only represent one problem with each unit. If the owners manual stated drain pump then it would be the issue. Unfortunately we are not pulling this model number up to locate parts.
