Alan W March 06, 2023 for Model Number NGM8055UC/01 All five burners light as they should, however even with all or any combination of burners lit all five ignitors click until the lit burner/s are turned off. Is this the spark ignition device? All switches test as they should with a multi meter and all ignitors spark and light the gas. They all remain on when the burner/s are lit.
1 Answer Alan W, I would check for a bare wire or pinched wire, and confirm that all the switches are good. Read More...
Brad M February 07, 2023 for Model Number NGM8655UC/01 The left front burner lights fine and shuts off fine. But while it is on and flaming the igniter keeps sparking and clicking non-stop. Cleaned the electrode but with no effect. What parts would I need to fix this? All other burners work without any issues.
1 Answer Brad, This would most likely be a spark switch issue with that burner. The part that you would need is 00627235. Read More...
Steve January 07, 2023 for Model Number NGMP055UC/02 The back left burner ignitor wont stop clicking after it lights the burner. Is the burners igniter going bad or the igniter module? Steve
1 Answer Steve, This will most likely be a faulty ignition switch that would need to be replaced. The part number for the switch is 00627235 and is located on the burner valve. Read More...
Nick December 13, 2020 for Model Number n.karafotias@outlook.com I need to replace one of the ignition electrodes in my Bosch cook top model number NGM8055UC. Do I need to remove the cooktop from the cabinet to do this, or can I just remove all the burners and the stainless steel top with the cooktop in place?
1 Answer Nick, There will be screws around the perimeter of the burner box that will require the cooktop to be removed from the cabinet. Read More...
Ruben August 31, 2018 for Model Number NGM8655UC/01 I have the five burner cooktop by Bosch. Need to replace the electrode like Ken, are all the electrodes the same I am needing the one for the middle burner or do they differ and have different part numbers.
1 Answer Ruben, you will need part number 00631633 for the electrode. All of the burners for your model use the same part. You will not be changing wires, just the electrode. Read More...
Ken June 10, 2018 for Model Number NGM8655UC/01 How do you change the electrode (Igniter)? Do you do it from the top or through the bottom of the cook top? My problem is that the igniter fires through the side of the ceramic insulator on the electrode instead of from the top surface of the electrode. In doesn't appear cracked but it appears to be short circuiting through the ceramic insulator just as it emerges above the aluminum burner (flame distributor). It appears you offer the electrode as a replacement part. Thanks in advance.
1 Answer Ken, To replace the electrodes you will need to remove the unit from the cabinet. Once you have it lifted out you would need to remove the burner heads. Once removed then remove all the screws from around the perimeter of the burner box that hold in the main top and remove it. Once it is removed you would be able to change the igniter. Read More...
