Jeff October 16, 2012 for Model Number Thermador Dishwasher DWHD64EP Hi. My Thermador DWHD64EP dishwasher sounds like the drain cycle will not shut off. I've taken out the filter and cleaned it out. Also, I have used a towel to dry any remaining excess water but this does not seem to shut off the drain cycle. Also I've tried resetting the cycle by holding the "cancel and drain" buttons for 3 seconds then waiting a minute and turning off the dishwasher as is outlined in the owners manual. None of these solutions seem to be shutting off the dishwasher. I've had this problem before and cured it by doing the same procedures as noted above. Do you have other suggestions on how to end the drain cycle and reset the dishwasher? Thanks
1 Answer Hi. Remove the drain pump part # 00642239 and the recirculation pump part # 00442548 and clean them and the hoses they connect to. Make sure the impellors are not loosely spinning on the motor shaft. If so then replace them. Use a shop vac and towels to remove all debris you find as you clean all from the top of the motor sump body that may be obstructing the drain flow. Thank You. Read More...
