Herb Wainer September 10, 2019 for Model Number SGCS304RS I need a solenoid valve + mod kit (00497235) for the right rear burner. Can you help me? I have contacted you before but didn't have the mod kit part number or the burner location. Thanks very much for your help.
1 Answer Herb, The 00411253 / 00411253 valve/solenoid is available and in stock at this time. Unfortunately, the 00497235 / 00497235 Potentiometer Kit has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The potentiometers 00422749 are available, but the simmer controller has also been discontinued. The manufacturer does not stock any substitute parts to replace this one. We cannot obtain the part through any other means. Typing your part number into a search engine and checking to see whether another company might stock it. Searching online stores like eBay, Amazon, etc. for your part number. Visiting a local appliance store or parts dealer to see if they have this part in stock. Contacting a local service company, who may be able to repair your existing part or replace it with their own solution. Contacting the manufacturer of your appliance directly to check for their recommendations. Thanks, Read More...
Mike C. August 23, 2019 for Model Number gg3602 One of the burners keeps clicking without it being turned on. Should I replace the spark module or ignitor device? These two parts look the same.

Timmy February 27, 2019 for Model Number PGR366ZS I have no spark on oven igniter. There is not any cracks on the two spark ignitors that sit next to the gas tube. I'm guessing my spark module is bad. How often does this module goes bad, the blue box?
1 Answer Timmy, what you may want to do is ensure that the burner and caps are cleaned with a wire crush to ensure that the spark ignitor can have a proper spark. From there, if you turn off the gas, you may want to test to ensure that the spark ignitors are reading continuity from the tip of the spark ignitor to the end of the wire where it goes into the module. After that, you will want to test to ensure that the knob for the burner is sending voltage to the module. If the module is receiving voltage, then you will need to replace the re-ignitor [00189010]. Ron January 07, 2019 for Model Number Thermador PRG30425/01 gas range and oven My Thermador range gas oven and one of the two broiler ignitors have been intermittent and now appear to have stopped working completely. I am able to light them manually prior to the safety shutting the gas flow off. Based on this description, would you start with a new ignitor module replacement? I'm a DIYer and happy to replace a few parts myself instead of paying a repairman; even if that means I replace a few extra until I get to the culprit. Do you have a recommendation on what parts I should start with? While I've got it out and apart, I'm happy to replace a few things to avoid having too many hits and misses. Thanks.
1 Answer Ron, You will want to check to see if there is power to the igniter and if there is and the igniter is not glowing then the igniter would need to be replaced. The part number for the igniter will be 00487242. Read More...
Scott October 06, 2018 for Model Number Thermador SGC365R* Cooktop unit has no spark but gas flow on all 5 burners. Everything clean;ground wire good. Thankx for the help
1 Answer Hello Scott, you'll want to check the wiring on the spark switches as well as the spark switches part number 00411415. If those parts test good you'll want to check your ground connections going to your spark module part number 00753257. If all connections look good you might have to replace the module, thanks! Jimmy G September 29, 2018 for Model Number PRDS366 I have a Thermador 6 burners and two burners does not spark or gas (XLO burners). I was told it maybe the potentiometers. They were changed and still not working.Could this be the result of a bad Simmer controller. If it is what is the part number and were is the simmer controller located if I have to change? Is it in the back of the range? How can I access it if I want to replace the simmer controller? Thank You.
1 Answer Jimmy, The part number for the simmer control on this unit would be 00422882 but is showing as being discontinued with no suitable replacement available. Read More...
Tom September 27, 2018 for Model Number Thermador PRG304US My Thermador stove left burners just stop igniting and there is no gas. The right burners would randomly not spark but can be lit with a lighter. This happened after I was baking in the oven and the indicator light would not turn off, even though everything was turned off (stove and oven). I had to unplug stove at the outlet to turn off stove on indicator light. Is the igniter module possibly bad?
1 Answer Hello Tom, This is most likely a bad simmer control 00422882. Be aware that the original potentiometers 00422748 are not compatible with the new simmer control and they will have to be changed at the same time for the unit to operate properly/safely. I'm sorry but this part 00422882 has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. M . F September 15, 2018 Thermador cooktop Model No. GTH30 Serial No.86110169 I was given the Part number 00414574 for the Spark Module. The cooktop is old. Works perfectly well. Jimmy L August 29, 2018 for Model Number Thermador PRDS366 My Thermador Range XL burners do not spark and no gas. I think the 6 point gas re-igniter needs to be replace. Do you know what is the part number for 6 point gas re-igniter for my range? Thank You.
1 Answer Jimmy, The XLO burners(simmer burners) have their own simmer control module and potentiometers. Unfortunately the manufacturer has discontinued the parts. We can no longer get it from any of our suppliers. There is no substitute for the part available to us and we don't know of any other source for the part. You may want to try local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it. Try eBay,Amazon or similar sites. Search by using the manufacturing part number(s) [00422748] Potentiometer, [00497234] Simmer Control, or the [00497234] Simmer Control Kit. You can also try Try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model , a useable part for your range, or access to refurbished or remanufactured parts. Thanks, Read More...
Joe Milicia December 09, 2017 for Model Number Thermador PRG364GDUS I recently replaced the spark module because the lighting of all the burners was intermittent. After replacement the two simmer burners on the left light up perfectly, however the two normal right hand burners only light if one of the two simmer burner are on. If I tried to just turn on the right regular burners all I get is gas and no spark. Model PRG364GDUS Serial #99070101F. The spark module I replaced was a 6 connected type utilizing only 4 points.
1 Answer Joe, You will want to make sure that the igniters are plugged into the spark module and if this checks ok then check the ignition switches on the burner valves to make sure that they are good. Read More...
