Brian J June 15, 2015 for Model Number Bosch Axxis I moved into a house with a Bosch Axxis washing machine in a very small laundry room. The laundry room door can't close because the washing machine handle sticks out too far. Is there another handle I could order that is more flush with the washing machine? Is there a way I could sand down the handle so it doesn't block the laundry room door from closing. Thanks, Brian

Chris October 13, 2012 for Model Number 490903 The door on my Bosch Axxis washer will not open, and I think the handle is broken and the door is locked with close inside. Is there any way to open the locked door to get the clothes out and repair the handle?
1 Answer Hi. Remove the top panel. Unplug the unit for a few minutes to see if it will reset. The door latch is part # 00184455. Remove the lower panel and make sure the drain pump is clear. Inspect the impeller and replace if damaged. Pump part# 00144486. Deactivate the child lock out feature (on some models). Use a volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. It will be advantageous to find the supplied tech sheet inside the cabinet to aid you in the diagnosis. It allows you to put the unit in a diagnostic mode which brings up fault codes and tells you which circuit needs assistance. Thank You. Read More...
