Pam March 02, 2016 for Model Number SHX43C06UC/50 Our dishwasher is running 3+ hours and the sterilize light doesn't come on when finished. Dishes are still wet too. Thinking might be heating element. Can you please confirm what part we would need to fix this problem? Thank you, Pam
1 Answer Hello Pam. Yes, it sounds like the heater is bad. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Tom November 05, 2015 for Model Number SHE43F05UC / 50 The dishwasher does not dry and does not keep water hot. I'm guessing it is the heating element. But, I want to make sure they still make a replacement part before deciding to fix or replace the dishwasher. The unit is about 7 years old. Thanks. Tom
Tom October 28, 2015 for Model Number Bosch Dishwasher SHE3AR55UC/07 Won't heat water on normal....but heats on auto and heavy load---can't see "heating element" as a part to replace ---model is discontinued lasted 7 years...not noisy but the one under the counter before lasted 27 years...and cost less than 1/3 of the price of this one
1 Answer Tom, With the unit heating water for the auto and heavy but not normal would most likely be caused by a faulty control module. It would be a programming issue with the board. Read More...
