Jack December 23, 2019 for Model Number HMC80151UC/01 I need to replace both hinges on the door due to broken return springs. How do I remove the inner plastic panel on the door to access the hinges? In a previous answer, you indicated that one must replace the whole door. If that is the case, then why do you sell the individual hinges and other parts of the door, including the inner panel that I am referring to?
1 Answer Hello Jack, the hinges do show as replaceable on this model. To access them use a putty knife and slowly/carefully wedge it into the edge of the plastic inner door cover which is held on by its clips to the door frame, work your way around the edges to release the clips, once it is off you will have access to the hinges.
