Miles May 14, 2024 for Model Number BOSCH B20CS30SNS/01 Refriderator Hi. Been having trouble with the ice maker. It makes ice and will dump it into the bucket. However, the ice will freeze into big clumps in the bucket. I was told that the problem might be that the coating inside the cube compartments that keeps the cubes from sticking in the ice tray may have worn off. That would make sense. It may be that most of the compartments still have the coating and the ice cubes will fall out into the bucket when it dumps. However, there may be a small number of compartments missing the coating and causing the cubes to remain in the tray. So when the tray refills with water any remaining cubes will cause the water to run off into the bucket. Thoughts on that?
1 Answer Miles, there would not be a coating on the ice tray of the ice maker 11023236. The ice maker can be inspected for ice not releasing during a harvest cycle as well as inspected for any cracks in the tray. If the ice does release and there are no cracks in the tray, it would be likely that the water valve 12020256 is not closing properly and allowing water to overflow into the ice bin. Read More...

Alfredo July 06, 2020 I have a bosch refregierator B20CS50SNS/02 water started leaking in the water dispenser which seems to be related to some tubing in the ice maker compartment. When i turned off the icemaker, the dripping stopped. I can still use the dispenser for cold water. Do i have to replace the ice maker dispenser unit? Can I install this myelf?

Looks, that one side has a little hole and we have water dripping till freezes completely. Ice try does fill appropriately, so there is no overflow. Water leaks, drop, by drop till one cube hole empties complete. Is this do yourself project? Do we need to replace the whole icemaker? Thank you Agnes
David Kyle February 11, 2018 for Model Number Bosch B20CS50SNS/02 The Ice Maker empties the tray completely but then over fills with water; not by a lot but enough to spill over. As a result the ice then comes out as a single block and pooled water freezes up in the ice basket locking up the dispenser. Obviously this was not the case in the first 8 years of operation. I have replaced the Ice Maker with one I purchased from you but the problem persists. What might be the cause? I can find no documented adjustment to limit the water fill other than perhaps the valve at the wall. To my knowledge my water pressure has not changed. I don't think there is anything wrong with the refrigerator's water valves as you can hear them actuate sharply when the ice maker water dispenses and shuts off. It is a long shot but could the brand of water filters be responsible? I changed from a 3M CS-52 Refrigerator Water Filter to a Bosch 640565 Premium Refrigerator Water & Ice Filter. Is it possible the Bosch filter is freer flowing than the 3M filter resulting in overfilling? I am not certain the problem was coincident but it is the only change I can think of.
