John W October 16, 2015 I have a Thermador Rangetop GCT36 4G and need replacement ignitors. The Thermador part number is 20-01-499. You have a Bosch AP3674290 that is compatible with 20-01-500. Will this also work on my model? Thank You, John
1 Answer John, If you are looking for the spark igniter for the stove top burners then the igniters 20-01-499 would not be available and the 00492431 will not work. If this is for the grill burner then yes the 00492431 will work for your unit. Read More...
George K. May 16, 2015 for Model Number thermandor profetional part no 00492431 Ordered from appliancepartspros.com. It came today and I put it on. It glows but it does light up. Any idea why?
1 Answer Hello George, If the ignitor is glowing yellow to white hot, there will be an issue with the gas valve. I can list the gas valve part number if you could please provide the model number from the units' I.D. tag. Read More...
Dikali48 December 10, 2013 for Model Number Thermador GC48 4GG Hopping you can help, I need for the following 1. The large oven self cleaning does not work, the indicator light stays on all the time and the door does not latch/lock I suspect it may be the door latch assembly ??? 2. Grill, griddle and burner igniters do not work I have replaced most of them few years ago Are parts/repair manual available?
1 Answer Dikali48, If all of the igniters went out at the same time thin the issue may be a bad spark module for the unit. The unit not going into a self clean would most likely be the latch assembly. The model number listed is not coming up as a valid and we would need to have the correct model to be able to assist properly. Please post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...

Scott September 03, 2013 for Model Number HGS255UC/01 I have a Bosch oven (HGS255UC/01) and the igniter has gone bad. The repair seems pretty simple, and I can do it myself. However, it's a big deal to pull the oven away from the wall, so I'd like to know if this is necessary before I do it. Do you know if I need to access the back of this oven to complete the repair? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Scott. No, this can be replaced by removing the floor in the bottom of the oven. Read More...
