The Control Board is an OEM part for Bosch wall ovens. It serves as the main control center for the oven, managing and regulating all the functions, including temperature settings, cooking modes, timers, and the operation of the heating elements.

Causes of a bad Control Board can include electrical surges, wear and tear from prolonged use, exposure to heat, and moisture or grease buildup that can damage electronic components.

Symptoms of a bad Control Board include:

  • The oven not powering on or failing to respond to control inputs
  • Display errors or malfunctioning display screen
  • Inaccurate temperature regulation or inability to maintain set temperatures
  • The oven not completing cooking cycles or shutting off unexpectedly

This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.

For Bosch Control Board (Part Number: OEM19000299)

Lawrence for Model Number Bosch HBL5450UC/06

I have the same issue as another has reported here, but want to be sure I'm ordering the correct board. The oven is in setup mode, asking for date/time/etc. to be set. You can start to move through the entry screens, but when pressing "INFO" to complete the programming, the screen goes blank except for a square cursor in the upper-left, and then it goes right back to the setup screen again. Recycling power does not help, disconnecting from power for an hour does not help. Have tried every key combination. Is this the display board or the control board, so I order the correct one. Thanks for ANY help!

John, If you are unable to program the unit then the control panel would be the issue but if it is programming but will not start then would be the main control board.

Just took delivery from appliance parts pros of what was designated as replacement control module (circuit board) for this model - Bosch 00655359 Module-Control But the configuration of board is completely different than what is installed in my oven. It has edge connectors and block pin receptacles that don't match existing wiring. had expected a simple unplug and plug of existing leads into replacement board. Can I find a replacement module with a matching configuration to what came with the oven?

Matt, This control module would be the one that the manufacturer has as a replacement and would be the correct one for your unit.

Bob for Model Number HBL5450UC/06

Temp control is off. For example, when set to True Convection (325 d) it heats up quickly to 300 then slows way down and or stops. At 300 The oven reads preheat then switches to heating as it struggles to reach the set 325. I then turn up the temp to 340, the oven displays preheat again and starts to heat up again. Lastly, I turn the oven off, set the oven to True Convection (325) , re-start, the oven heats to 340 before I shut it off. Took off sensor and all elements and all checked out. Ordered a new inter-phase board "module control (from you) and did not fix the problem. Repair tech is pulling at straws. Suggestions? Is there another board to replace? Thanks,

Bob, The control module/relay board would be the part that would cause this type of issue other than the wiring or oven sensor. If you test the oven sensor wires at the control board test for 1090 ohms at room temp of 77 degrees. The calculation for when you turn the oven on and test the sensor and wires would be to add 2 ohms for every 1 degree of increase. So it would be recommended to test at the set temperature once it goes to the heating phase. It is possible that the wiring of the sensor could be the issue.
