This OEM part is a power control board. The power control board provides power to the electronic oven control board. If the oven is no longer turning on, or the digital display is no longer visible, this could mean it's time to replace the power control board. Luckily this is a relatively simple process. To begin, make sure to turn off the power to the oven by unplugging it or shutting off the circuit breaker. Then proceed to remove the upper back panel. Once removed locate the power control board and remove the wire harness and wires attached to it. Be sure to take note of the orientation of the wires to place them into the correct terminals on the new board. Attach the wires to the new board and snap the new board back in place. Resecure the back panel and put the oven back in place. This genuine replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau ovens.

Dennis, in regards to the unit being worth repairing, that would be a matter of personal opinion and other factors. Generally speaking though, it is usually worth trying to repair an appliance. In regards to the pushbuttons not working, the pushbutton control assemblies are discontinued by the manufacturer and no longer available.

Carlos for Model Number Thermador P304CS

Hi I own a range from Thermador thats a bit dated when I purchased the unit after a short while the oven when bad I called thermador & they recommended a service to repair. If I recall correctly they changed out the PC board which cost a ridiculous amount to replace & install. I paid and continue to use for another short while and the oven failed again. We have been using the range without the oven for years now and I want to repair it myself this time. Based on your web page you don't have anything on my particular model but I would appreciate any recommendations or videos to help me fix this ranges oven , right now when we turn on the oven nothing happens no lights or sounds, please advise as this is going to be my second project using your site.

A91030mom for Model Number PGR486GDZS

After power outage got the two blinking oven followed by two blinking heat on both ovens (PGR486GDZS). Tried power cycle, got the smaller oven to kinda work, but not very well. The blinking lights stopped, the broiler doesn't work and the head doesn't say on well. PRIOR to the power outrage, the broiler had stopped functioning in the larger oven. Also prior to outage, the larger oven wouldn't hold the temp. For example: I would set the dial to 350F, I could hear the gas come on, the temp dial outside would slowly rise to 350F. I could feel the heat was 350F when I put my food in. Later, say 20 mins or so, even though the dial still showed 350F, I would check the food and clearly the temp had fallen. When I'd move the temp knob, to say 400F, the dial would jump down to show the true temp inside say 200F or whatever. Questions: So I'm guessing that the power outage just finished the board off and that it was on it's last legs, do you agree with this diagnostic? (I'm hoping a new board will fix temp issue) From research I've done, seems I need to replace the board, correct? 00709786 is the correct board for my PGR486GDZS, yes? And it comes with the board for the small oven to, correct? The board will come with instructions what to wire to plug where? (I think so based on reviews from others). From research my husband and I did, most are easy to figure out, but there are like 4 wires that are currently plugged into places that will need a different plug-in from where they are now due to new board config.

Zeek, There will not be a difference between the boards as far as operation goes. The 05 to 07 simply indicates series change on the part in which there may have been some type of modification or vendor.

Alan, With the large oven working but the smaller oven not then the issue would most likely be caused by the relay board for the smaller oven that is faulty.
