Bryon September 11, 2018 for Model Number hbl8650uc/09 The top oven gets too hot then shuts down with error code E115. I have ohmed the temperature sensor and it read 974°F. I am thinking I need to replace the next component in line. Relay or control board? Which one should I order?
1 Answer Hello Bryon, The top oven temperature sensor should read about 1100 ohms at about 70°F. If so, test it again from the connections at the board that lead back to the sensor to eliminate the possibility of a harness issue. If this reads the same, the board would then be in question. Michael August 27, 2018 for Model Number HBL8450UC/07 My oven (HBL8450UC/07) thinks it reaches set point too soon, then proceeds to heat far past the set point. I removed the temperature sensor and tested the resistance at room temperature and the reading was 1091 ohms, so the temperature sensor doesn't appear to be the issue. I'm not sure what to check next. I think it is likely a thermostat issue, but I don't see a thermostat part for this oven. Any help would be appreciated.
1 Answer Michael, Check the wiring between the control board and the sensor to ensure that the wiring is good and if it checks ok then this will be a control board issue as the probe is the temperature sensor on this model. Read More...
Steve December 28, 2017 for Model Number HBL8650UC/10 My lower oven broiler won’t heat. I already replaced the broiler heating element and it still doesn’t work. If the next option is the relay, can you tell me how complicated that is to replace. Thanks.
1 Answer Steve, With the broil element having been replaced then this will most likely be an issue with the control module which is part number 12022214. Read More...
Ben November 23, 2017 for Model Number HBL8650UC/07 I am getting an E115 code on the upper oven of my Bosch double oven. This has happened twice. The lower oven works fine. What may be the issue?
1 Answer Hello Ben. You will need to test the oven sensor and see if it is good. If not, then replace the sensor. If it is good, then the wiring or the control have failed and will need to be replaced. Thank you. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Harris October 30, 2017 for Model Number HBL 5650UC-03 Our lower oven is receiving power because the oven light works. However the oven fails to heat on Bake,Broil, Roast.
1 Answer Harris, The most likely cause for the lower oven to not operate would be a faulty relay control board which would be part number 00655357. Read More...
