Joseph February 05, 2020 for Model Number HBL8450UC/07 If I remove the two screws securing the temperature sensor to the inner oven chamber and attempt to pull the temperature sensor out (to measure the ohms resistance at room temperature) the covered wires only come out so far (two inches) and seem to be 'at rope's end.' Should I try to force the wiring to come out further or do I have to completely remove the oven assembly out of the cabinet to get to the other end of the temperature sensor wiring to measure resistance?

Typically the relays on the control will fail to open and close properly and therefore you get an inconsistent temperature.
