Marc June 18, 2015 for Model Number Bosch SGV55M43EU/10 When I will remove the 00424410 switch, I measure switch functionality between pin 1 & 2, pin 3 & 3 but pin 5 & 6 will be shortly make connection. So do I need to replace this switch or is this behaviour correct? Manufacturer Bosch will not give any details about the specs of the switch. Thanks in advance, Marc
1 Answer Hello Marc, You may be able to tell how to test the switch from the tech sheet, but considering this has the German electrical symbols, it will be difficult to decipher. You may have to try replacing the switch to clear it from suspicion. If you order the switch from us, we will refund it if it is not needed. Read More...
Casey May 17, 2013 I have a Bosh dishwasher with not power on the display panel, I have confirmed power at the 120 V connection. The Bosh model number is SHE43M02UC-50. I suspect the on/off switch On this switch there are 6 pins, if I ohm pin 1 and 2 and push the button it opens and closes, the same if I ohm pin 3 and 4. When I ohm pin 5 and 6 and push the button it remains open. Doesn pin 5 and 6 stay open? I have no power on my bosh diswahser and suspect it is due to pin 5 and 6 not closing woudl this be correct? 1 Answer Hello Casey. Test the switch and see if it open or closes on the unit when you press it. If not, you will need to replace the switch. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

1 Answer Casey, Without the model number to try to look at a wiring diagram we would not be able to determine what the open positions are on the switch. To properly assist you we will need your model number to help you with this. Please post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...
Tom October 10, 2012 for Model Number bosch model # SHE46C06UC/33 How is this switch checked, installed and plugged in or can this switch just be checked outside of the unit. Of the 6 terminals which ones are used for the continunity test? Over at parts they told me I can put a jumper across the plug to temportility run the unit?
1 Answer Hi. The ON/OFF Switch part # 00424410 turns the dishwasher on and off and is crucial in resetting controls. Contacts 5 & 6 reset the control. Whenever a control won't reset or won't go into wash programs, check the on/off switch and jumper. Replace switch and jumper if they're faulty. Thank you. Read More...
